NEWS| The Claridges Hotels & Resorts join hands with WORLDHOTELS

New Delhi based hospitality player, The Claridges Hotels & Resorts has entered into an exclusive tie-up for distribution, sales and marketing support with WORLDHOTELS, the Europe based collection of independent hotels and regional hotel brands. Three hotels from The Claridges group in Delhi and NCR region will be a part of the WORLDHOTELS' global portfolio in India.



The Claridges Group's agreement signed on November 2007 with WORLDHOTELS classifies The Claridges New Delhi and Atrium Surajkund under the Deluxe Collection and First Class Collection respectively from December 1, 2007 onwards. The Claridges Surajkund will come under the Deluxe Collection when it opens in September 2008. WORLDHOTELS provides a range of sales, marketing, distribution and related services to its members across the globe. The company currently has a portfolio of over 500 hotels spread across 300 destinations and 70 countries worldwide under its three different brands of Deluxe Collection, First Class Collection and Comfort Collection.

NEWS| JMJ Group to foray into hospitality sector

Mumbai-based JMJ Group is planning to foray into the hospitality sector. It is looking at setting-up five-star hotels in New Delhi, Jaipur, Dehradun and Hyderabad and three and four star hotels in Pune, Raipur and Udaipur.



The Group has acquired the land in all the locations for constructing the properties. The development of the hotels will entail an investment of over Rs 2,000 crore.
