Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Microsoft Corp. announced today a partnership to implement products and services at the “Link @ Sheraton,” its signature communications hub rolling out in Sheraton lobbies this year. Under the agreement, Sheraton will also co-brand and rename the space “The Link @ Sheraton experienced with Microsoft.” The partnership is one component of a comprehensive effort to enhance and differentiate the guest experience at Sheraton’s 408 hotels across 75 countries, currently rolling out globally.

The VITS luxury business hotel chain has introduced the ‘Anti-Jet Lag Program’ with the needs and comfort of today's travellers in mind.

Guests can warm-up in the low temperature steam rooms and experience the boosting power of oxygen. Soft, bright lights help guests to soothe their nerves. The highlight of the program is the special menu of light, protein-filled, easy-to-digest meals.

NEWS| ‘The Yellow Chilli’ aims for 80 outlets by 2011

Celebrity Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor plans to expand his restaurant brand ‘The Yellow Chilli’ through the introduction of 80 fine dining restaurants under the brand over the next three years. As part of its Indian expansion plans, it is presently in the process of launching the restaurants in Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Powai (in Mumbai).

Presently, the focus is on aggressive development of The Yellow Chilli as a brand. Speaking exclusively to Hospitality Biz, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor states, “We are presently in discussions with several developers and in the process of freezing on multiple locations”. As far as the brand’s international expansions are concerned, he states that joint ventures are under consideration.

Chef Kapoor has earmarked an investment of Rs 40 Crore for the expansion of both brands. He also has a franchise agreement for his restaurant brands with Landmark Group. However, the focus will now be on expanding the brands through ownership and management contracts, …
