NEWS| Taj continues to pay well - for the top management!

Indian Hotels MD Raymond Bickson saw his salary go up by 17% to Rs 5.3 crore, while that of company executive director finance Anil Goel went up by 10% to Rs 1.15 crore, according to the company’s latest annual report. The salary of Abhijit Mukherji, ED-hotel operations, rose by 31% to Rs 89 lakh, the report added.

Salaries of other senior executives such as Rajiv Gujral (COO, M&A) and Jyoti Narang (COO luxury hotels) went up by 13% and 15% respectively, Indian Hotels said.

NEWS| Singapore launches F&B tender for World Expo 2010

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) launched a tender yesterday for a food and beverage (F&B) outlet for the Singapore Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China.

The tender invites Singapore-based or registered companies with operations in Shanghai to submit credentials and proposals for services covering the six month period of the World Expo 2010 from 1 May to 31 October.

NEWS| Croma in tie-up with Sanjeev Kapoor's Wonderchef

Tata group's consumer durables and electronics chain, Croma, has tied up with chef Sanjeev Kapoor's Wonderchef Home Appliances and will invest Rs 25-crore to retail imported kitchenware in India.
