Swiss-Belhotel International has signed a management agreement with M T Khoory Group, to set up a three-star hotel, Swiss-Inn Al Khoory in Dubai. Swiss-Inn Al Khoory will be the second property for Swiss-Belhotel International in Dubai. The hotel is expected to open in early 2011. The agreement was signed between Thomas Van Vliet, Vice President of Operations and Development, Swiss-Belhotel International The Middle East and Mohammad Tayyeb Mohammad Yousef Khoory, Chairman, M T Khoory Group.
InterContinental Hotels Group and Osaka Station North Yard Development Project have reached an agreement for IHG to open a luxury hotel and high-end residences within the Osaka Station North Yard Development Project in Osaka city under the InterContinental brand. This marks the debut of the InterContinental brand in Osaka and the debut of InterContinental residences in Japan. Both the hotel and residences are scheduled to open in 2013.
U Hotels & Resorts is likely to open U Inchantree Kanchanaburi Resort in Thailand by November 1, 2010. The property will be the second U Resort after U Chiang Mai. U Inchantree Kanchanaburi will be a boutique resort with a rustic river lodge style surrounded by landscaped gardens, located on the north bank of the river and near to River Kwai Bridge. The resort will feature 24 superior rooms and two suites in the two-storeyed building.

This year the awards recognise achievements of 24-separate organisations and individuals. The award ceremony will be held during PATA Travel Mart 2010 on September 17, 2010 at the Venetian Macau Resort, Macau SAR.
Langham Hotels International has signed a management contract with Hong Kong property developer, Nan Fung Group, for a new hotel in Guangzhou. The Langham Place, Pazhou, Guangzhou, scheduled to open in 2013, will be the only hotel connected to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
