Excise Department of Delhi receives application for L─4 (D) licence from Pizza Hut

International fast food chain Pizza Hut and a few restaurants at the Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport have applied for L─4 (D) licence from the Delhi government, which will allow them to serve beer and wine on their premises. Department of Excise Entertainment and Luxury Tax, Government of NCT of Delhi has received around 14 applications. This information was given by A K Walia, Finance Minister, Delhi.

Hotels Take 'Locally Grown' a Logical Step Beyond

Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, has a garden on the 14th floor.

Eleven Fairmont hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Kenya and China keep bees, whose honey sweetens tea and soups, desserts and cocktails.

Fairmont's property in Montreal, adopted a goat whose milk is used to make fresh cheese.

The Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile has its own garden. it also cures its own meats, makes its own cheeses and pastas, and even stomps grapes in the lobby (with guests' help) to create wines.
