Gujarat-based Neesa Leisure Ltd has launched its first property at Gandhinagar in Gujarat under the 'Coral By Cambay' brand. N Rajendra Raju, Group CEO, Neesa Leisure Ltd said that the company would set up more hotels at Dahej (Gujarat), Abu Road (Rajasthan), Nashik (Maharashtra), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Raipur (Chhattisgarh) in the next few months. Land has already been bought at some of these places and the company is going to launch more budget hotels across India in future.
The Gandhinagar property is actually part of the existing Cambay Spa and Resorts whose 16 cottages, comprising 32 rooms, have been redesignated under the Coral By Cambay brand. He further informed that the budget customers could, however, avail of pay-and-use facilities in the accompanying 184-room five-star facility.
According to a report in The Hindu Business Line, the company, with a Rs 1,500-crore asset-under-management has a turnover of Rs 100 crore at present. The group mainly has corporate clientele, with an average occupancy of 40-45 per cent. In all, it has eight properties under three and five-star categories with 700-plus rooms. Hospitality contributes 30-35 per cent of the company's revenues.

The open forum gives travellers a place to share and search for genuine hotel reviews – both the positive and the negative – so they can plan their ideal hotel stay. The hotel group is also making sure that all comments are from guests who have stayed at the hotel. Reviews are verified by a hotel reservation confirmation.

According to the company release, guests can now post ratings and reviews based on a variety of criteria including: Overall Rating, Room Comfort, Staff Met My Needs, Room Cleanliness and SPG Recognition. Helping to create a more personalised experience, guests can also filter review content to see the information that is most relevant to them including: Star Rating, Purpose of Travel, Frequency of Travel, SPG Level, Above/Met Expectations and Below Expectations. Reviews can also be shared through social media channels including both personal and property Facebook pages.

Hilton Worldwide, with its portfolio of 10 hotel brands, has announced that the company has saved more than USD 74 million in utility costs since the introduction of LightStay Sustainability Measurement System. Sustainability measures have brought on reduction in the following areas: a 6.6 per cent reduction of energy use, 7.8 per cent reduction of carbon output, 19 per cent reduction of waste output, 3.8 per cent reduction of water use.
According to the company release, as a result of these actions, Hilton Worldwide recently earned ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management Systems, achieving one of the largest ever volume certifications of commercial buildings - with more than 3,750 properties across 10 brands and 85 countries. As part of the Hilton Worldwide certification process, DEKRA Certification, Inc performed a series of audits and will continue ongoing assessments to monitor compliance.
