NEWS | DLF plans to offload Aman Resorts for Rs 2000 crore in early 2012

DLF, realty major, plans to sell off its Aman Resorts properties (excluding the Delhi one, earlier known as Lodhi) in a deal estimated to be Rs 2,000 crore in early 2012. This information was given by Rajeev Talwar, Executive Director DLF. The group is targeting a realisation of Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 3,500 crore from non-core asset sales, debt reduction target, according to a report in Business Standard.

NEWS | MoFPI approves for 10 mega food parks across India

Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India has approved 10 mega food parks in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Jharkhand, Assam, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Bihar and Tripura. According to a report in PIB on its year end review on the food processing industries in the country, in-principle approval has been accorded to five projects and Expression of Interest (EoI) issued for another 15 projects.
