JOB DESCRIPTION Work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that are flavorful and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies, estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service. Supervise operation to maximize profitability Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions Direct hiring,training and scheduling of food service personnel investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Comply with all health and safety regulations Review and monitor \, with book keeper or other financial personnel,expenditure to ensure that they conform to budget limitations. NEWS | ITC buys 4.62% stake in Hotel Leela, total stake goes up to 12.88%

Diversified business group ITC which also runs the luxury chain ITC hotels, consolidated its shareholding in Hotel Leelaventure by acquiring 4.62% stake from its wholly-owned subsidiary Russell Credit (RC). That brings ITC’s stake in Leelaventure has gone up to 12.88% from 8.26%. Prior to the acquisition, RC had 5.23% stake in the hospitality firm, which now stands at 0.61%, Hotel Leelaventure said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
