NEWS| Pegasus Capital acquires Six Senses Resorts & Spa

US based private equity fund Pegasus Capital Advisors, through one or more affiliates, has acquired the Bangkok-based luxury resort and spa management business of Six Senses Resorts & Spas for an undisclosed sum. Following the terms of the binding agreement signed in April 2012, Pegasus now holds the rights to the Six Senses and Evason resort and spa management contracts and related intellectual property. The newly acquired assets will be operated by Sustainable Luxury Holdings (BVI) Limited, a newly-formed company managed by Pegasus.

Patu Keswani plans to expand The Lemon Tree Hotels chain aggressively by adding 2,000 rooms in the next two years. In a slightly time, he plans to have an inventory of 8,000 owned rooms by 2015. One night in the capital will cost an average of 210 pounds, which is 114 pounds more than the average price of a hotel in the rest of Europe (96 pounds).
