Agnes Hlavacs has been appointed Director of Revenue at Radisson Royal Hotel, Dubai

Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai has recently appointed Agnes Hlavacs as director of revenue management. Agnes, originally from Hungary, joins Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai from Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre, where she served as pre- opening revenue manager for the 460-room hotel.

Tux Hospitality to manage all resident hotels of Shipra Group

Noida-based Tux Hospitality Pvt Ltd, a venture of Shipra Group has taken over management and operations of all the resident hotels of the Shipra Group. Tux has made elaborate plans to have ten operational properties by the end of 2013.

 Tux has catalogued three main brands to accommodate different categorisations of properties, such as Mosaic, which is the flagship brand of Tux and features upscale boutique properties with strong focus on design elements and deluxe feel. It currently consists of Mosaic Noida, Mosaic Mussorie along with other upcoming properties at business and leisure locations; Hive, which is a full service hotel essentially intended for volume business with philosophy of premier service and products to all; and Seed, which is the aspirational brand of Tux. A Seed property will consist of limited number of rooms; possibly hold a historical significance, a theme or a story behind it.

The Beer Café plans to open 100 outlets in India by 2018

Upcoming QSR chain, The Beer Café, which is based on the concept of quick service of beer, is planning to open 100 outlets in India by 2018.

The company plans to open 16 outlets in North India by the end of this year. “We are opening seven more outlets in Delhi NCR out of which 4 will be in Delhi, 2 in Noida and 2 in Gurgaon. Other locations include six outlets in Punjab and one outlet in Jaipur and Dehradun each,” said Rahul Singh, owner of The Beer Café. Rahul Singh spoke on the sidelines of Zomato Restaurant Summit 2013, recently held at Leela Kempinski Gurgaon.

 According to Singh, all the hundred outlets that the company plans to open in the next five years will be owned outlets. The company is also going to close a deal with a private equity player to fuel its growth.
