NEWS | US results week ending 23 February 2013 | STR

The U.S. hotel industry reported increases in the three key performance metrics during the week of 17-23 February 2013, according to data from STR. In year-over-year comparisons, occupancy was up 1.3 percent to 61.7 percent, average daily rate rose 3.4 percent to US$107.40 and revenue per available room increased 4.7 percent to US$66.30. Among the Top 25 Markets, Anaheim-Santa Ana, California, reported the only double-digit occupancy increase, rising 10.5 percent to 77.9 percent.
