Hilton Worldwide has announced the creation of up to 300 work placement opportunities a year at its hotels across the UK. Over one to two weeks, school pupils aged 14 to 18 years old will get a realistic view of work at Hilton's hotels and the routes into the industry through structured work experience activities.

Recently, a Byculla eatery in Mumbai had to pay a penalty of Rs.50,000 to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for using color in its chicken lollypop. According to the FDA officials, this is the first time an eatery in the city had to pay such a big amount under the new Food Safety and Standards Authority Act of India (FSSAI) for using color additives to food items.
Foodpanda, which is in ten cities in India, has partnered with Pizza Hut's franchise in India, Devyani International, to take online orders for Pizza Hut delivery stores managed by Devyani. White Lodging Services has named Bill Farrell as Hyatt Place Nashville/Downtown's general manager, according to a news release.
