One of Scotland’s most picturesque hotels has tripled in size after a £1 million funding support package from Bank of Scotland. The Bridge of Orchy hotel, situated close to the West Highland Way in Argyll, has been redeveloped to add an additional 23 bedrooms to meet visitor demand at its stunning tourist friendly location. The four star hotel, previously offered 10 high standard bedrooms and an adjacent bunkhouse, which provided additional budget accommodation.

Hilton Worldwide is expanding its presence in south eastern Europe with the brand entering Macedonia with the signing of a franchise agreement with Ajdovan Ademoski to open the upscale DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje. The hotel is expected to open in early 2016 and joins further properties under development in the region in Croatia and Montenegro. As a new build property, DoubleTree by Hilton Skopje’s design will make it the ideal venue for conference and events in a location with easy access to the city centre and international airport and in close proximity to the city’s main exhibition centre which is more than 50,000 square metres in size. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. said today it would cease managing The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Palm Beach as of July 1. The owner of the property will be renaming and managing the hotel. Effective July 1, no Ritz-Carlton Rewards or Marriott Rewards points can be earned or redeemed at the property. In connection with its departure, Ritz-Carlton also said that it has filed a multi-million dollar counterclaim against the owner, RC/PB Inc., for breach of contract.

The hotel will open this Winter and Madrid native Beneyto, who has previously worked at COMO properties in the Maldives and London, will oversee the construction and refurbishment of the Art Deco property on Collins Ave. Once the hotel opens, he will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel as well as the food and beverage service.

After 30 years at Marriott International, Malcom will take over in June 2013 as the Head of Sales Development and Customer Service Platforms from Hilton Worldwide. Malcolm's entry conditions are favorable, with Hilton Worldwide being one of the world's fastest-growing hotel companies; one in five hotel rooms under construction in Europe will open as a brand of Hilton Worldwide.
Big Three Restaurants, Inc., (OTCPink: BTHR) announced today it has signed an agreement with VERA Group, LLC, which provides immediate equity or bridge financing of $1.5 million and debt, equity or a combination of both totaling an additional $10 million but not less than $5 million net for operating capital. VERA Group will have first right of refusal on all future capital requirements, expansion and acquisition funding. The agreement is for 12 months and is on a non-exclusive basis with three additional six month increments. John V. Whitman, Jr., the Company’s chief executive officer, said, “The Company is planning to launch its own restaurant brand.
