The Karnataka state government has finally come out with a newly set list of guidelines for the women employees working at bars and restaurants at Bangalore.
According to official sources, the home department said that draft rules had been framed after consultation and inputs from police officers and other agencies.
“We will once again go through the rules as there are new transfers in the police department. We may submit the same to the high court after the policy is approved by the chief minister on Sunday”, a senior police officer said.]The proposed set of new rules consists of including a “decent” dress code, prohibit physical contact and specify working hours in accordance with labour laws.

Absolute Hotel Services India announces Eastin Easy Kurseong, Darjeeling Absolute Hotel Services India, which brought up Eastin Easy chain of hotels in India, has tied up with Zoom Nirman Private Limited over a new management agreement to build a property in Darjeeling District, Eastin Easy Kurseong.
The hotel will open in two phases, phase one will open in second quarter of 2014 and phase two will open in the first quarter of 2015.

Brands, which aims to open 1,000 stores and clock a billion-dollar revenue across its brands KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell by 2015 in India.
"Having opened only 60 restaurants in the first eight years, and taking it up by 80 in the six years thereafter, now we are looking at doubling the current base by financial year 2015," Jatia said.
In 2011, Hardcastle acquired the 50% stake held by the American parent, giving it full financial control to speed up expansion. Hardcastle had 105 restaurants during the financial year 2010-11 and currently has 161.
