NEWS | Accor is developing six newly-built hotels in Myanmar

Accor recently announced the partnership with Myat Min Company to develop three newly-built hotels in Myanmar.

The agreement includes 300-room Pullman Yangon Myat Min in Yangon, 100-room The Sebel Yangon Myat Min in Yangon and the 121-room Novotel Inle Lake Myat Min located on the banks of popular Inle Lake in Shan state.

Amongst the three hotels, Novotel Inle Lake will be the first hotel to open by the second quarter of this year and will have state-of-the-art facilities including three restaurants, two bars, a ballroom, two meeting rooms, a business centre, a swimming pool and a fitness and spa facility. Earlier last year, Accor also signed a 168-room MGallery hotel in Nay Pyi Taw, 366-room Novotel Yangon Max and 280-room Novotel Mandalay Mingalar – with the Novotel Yangon Max scheduled to open by the third quarter of this year.

The announcement brings Accor’s Myanmar development pipeline to six projects over the next three years.
