Indian hotel tariff declines 2 per cent in 2014: Report

Despite hotel tariff rising globally due to an improving world economy, it declined in Asia, including India, by two per cent during 2014, making it the second consecutive year the region reported a tariff
 decline, says a recent survey.
Overall global economic recovery gathered momentum and consumers became more confident in raising their travel spending, according to online accommodation booking website Hotels.com’s Hotel Price Index (HPI).
