Product Services Trainer (Hotel) - Mumbai

As the Product Services Trainer (Hotel) based within the Fleet Training department in Mumbai, India the role will support the development of a wide range of staff employed within the Hotel function of the Carnival Plc Operating Companies (Brands) managed by FMSI.

Accurate identification of training needs will enable the design and development of innovative and effective learning solutions, which will be implemented through a variety of different delivery methods, on a fleet-wide and global scale.

 Some of the key responsibilities within this role include:
  Building good working relationships with managers and staff and Training teams of the various brands in order to ensure maximum effectiveness in the delivery of workshops and programmes to crew members.
  To pro-actively work to ensure that people development is central to the business, continually identifying and feeding back to the Fleet Training teams of the various brands potential development needs within the business functions.
  Responsible for delivery of specific training and learning interventions as assigned by the Head of Operations.
  To facilitate a range of training courses, development activities and skills workshops to ensure departmental/business objectives are achieved, using the agreed frameworks and formats, and utilising the centrally designed training resources.
  To assist the Head of Hotel Training of the various brands and colleagues in Fleet Training, as required, with the identification of training needs, the design and evaluation of training solutions and interventions.

 We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level education or equivalent qualification in hospitality education. You will have a recognised training qualification e.g. CIPD; City & Guilds; Stonebow: TAP; PTLLS; DTLLS  or equivalent certification from any reputed organisation like Dale Carnegie, Indian Society for Training and Development, Grey Cells or Trainers’ Forum.

You will have previous experience of running training sessions and learning designed and delivered to varied audiences.
You will have the ability to travel extensively throughout the fleet and to overseas training centres. You will have a confident, positive ‘can do’ approach, adapting style/approach for different individuals/situations.
You will be organised and a good planner, whilst able to change priorities at short notice when required. Finally you must be eligible to work in Mumbai, India.
