W Hotel to debut in India

W Hotels Goa W Hotel, a trendy upmarket brand by Starwood Hotels and Resorts is scheduled to open in Goa on September 29. The first W property in India, it is spread over 25 acres, overlooks the Vagator beach, and has 160 rooms and villas.

Dining options include: Spice Traders, a pan-Asian restaurant with views of the sea; The Kitchen Table, an all-day restaurant that serves international cuisine; Rock Pool, carved into a rocky mountain under the Chapora Fort, serves Indian food prepared in an oven and on a wood-fired grill; Woo bar by the beach offers a mix of cocktails and healthy smoothies.

 On the property are also a business centre, outdoor pool, spa by Clarins, and a gym. Wifi will be available to all SPG Members when booking on Starwood websites, mobile sites and SPG apps. Wired internet access is free in all guest rooms.
