International Chef’s Day (ICD) observed on October 20 since 2004, is a day dedicated to the professional chef’s and celebrated on a large scale in India and over 100+ countries.

ICD 2016 India is based on the hub-n- spoke model where in the entire chefs’ community work towards common goal to feed over 6000 deserving citizens while adapting the concept at their local properties. Over 1500 chefs + 1000 hotels, restaurants & colleges across India are taking part and contributing to the common goal Make it wonderful, make it #chef4good.

Overall, the aim is to improve the image of this profession and raise public awareness in favour of healthy food and against the sad excess of food waste. ICD is supported by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), which created this wonderful initiative. The theme this year is ‘World on a Plate’. The goal for International Chefs Day is to help those who need a helping hand and we do it through food. We welcome people & organisations, restaurants to join hands for the cause and Reach Out, Welcome In & Raise-Donate.
